The theme of World Physiotherapy Day 2021 is “Long COVID and Rehabilitation”. There is an emerging role of chest physiotherapy in the Acute care of COVID-19. Besides, the role of physiotherapists is crucial in long COVID rehabilitation. International conference on “Inclusion of Physiotherapy Professionals in COVID-19 Acute Care and Long-COVID Rehabilitation” is 2 days long virtual international conference organized by the department of physiotherapy of BHPI- CRP in collaboration with Bangladesh Physiotherapy Association (BPA) aimed to celebrate “World Physiotherapy Day'' through knowledge sharing, presenting clinical data of collaborative researches in Bangladesh, and raising awareness on long COVID.
The conference is expected to be a virtual gathering of 500 Academician, researchers, policymakers, physiotherapists, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, students of health sciences, and leaders from 11 countries including Bangladesh, the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Thailand, and UAE.
