Impact of Promoting ‘Health security model’ for women with disabilities residing at Savar, Dhaka

The project achieved the following outcomes: 

1. Information on COVID-19 preventive measures has been disseminated successfully to the selected women with a disability and their associated family members.


2. Practical knowledge on maintaining social distance, quarantine, and other good health practices has been propagated among selected women with disabilities.


3. Frequent hand washing with sanitizers has been ensured among selected women with disabilities.


4. Regular counseling has been provided to selected women with disabilities through clinical physiotherapists during the pandemic period.


5. Government and NGOs have been encouraged to run a ‘health security model’ in every Upazila of Bangladesh.
