Overview

Department of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation (PTR) has five faculties, among them one faculty is on study leave. Currently, we have 5 undergraduate batches of Bachelor of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation (BPTR), a five-year professional entry-level education program. Each of the BPTR batches has a maximum capacity of 20 students. The Specialized Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) program has 10 specialties, among them, we are enrolling students for Musculoskeletal Medicine, Neurology, Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, and Gynecology & Women's Health. Our MPT is a residency program for 2 years. 


We also have clinical services coordinated by a Clinical Demonstration Officer, and research labs are coordinated by respective teachers. We have an enriched panel of 26 guest faculty members specialized in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Public Health, Rehabilitation Medicine, Pharmacology, Radiology, Biostatistics, Orthopedics, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Palliative Care. 


Soon, our Ph.D. and Doctor of Physiotherapy (clinical doctorate) program will be enrolling students.
