Message From Chairman

Welcome to the Department of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation (PTR). PTR at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) is the first-ever on-campus program on physiotherapy at a public university in Bangladesh. We offer professional bachelor's and specialized master's programs in Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, and recently we also started a PhD in the Physiotherapy Program. We also serve the community with outpatient services at the Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Pediatric, and Musculoskeletal ultrasonography laboratory. We also conduct community-based rehabilitation in small-scale health camps and outreach programs. We are equipped with modern technologies for conducting clinical trials in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. The alumnae of PTR secured jobs in the projects of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI), several physiotherapy colleges affiliated to the University of Dhaka, BRB hospitals, special schools, Neuro-developmental Disability Protection Trust, Jashore CMH, and other private clinics. However, a few of them are engaged in entrepreneurship and private practice. 

We are the home for national and international students, academics, and researchers of physiotherapy & rehabilitation.
